The architects originally conceived placing elements of nature on the skyline of the building. I proposed bringing it down to the ground level for more useful engagement. The theme of raw beauty drove the selection of the weathering steel and the theme of growth. Weathering steels natural rust patina ever changing by the intermittent rain and drying cycles of nature.
